Remember
He Has Been So, So Good ✨
There are nights that feel special… and then there are nights that feel sacred.
Last night was our 3rd annual women’s worship night, and I can’t even begin to describe how beautiful it was. I left overwhelmed with gratitude, simply saying, Thank You, Lord.
Honestly, I feel like it has gotten sweeter every year. Each gathering carries something unique, but this year felt especially deep. And somehow, even though it went way too fast (doesn’t holy time always seem to? 🥹), it left something lasting.
This year’s theme was “Remember.”
What a powerful word.
In a world constantly pulling us toward worry and distraction, remembering calls us back to the faithfulness of God.
Remember His goodness.
Remember answered prayers.
Remember what He brought you through.
Remember the seasons He carried you.
Remember the miracles, big and small.
I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.” — Psalm 77:11
That’s what the whole night felt like—one beautiful act of remembering.
One of the songs we sang was “So So Good” by Phil Wickham, and it felt woven into the message of the night. It’s a testimony set to music—declaring that through every season, God has been so, so good.
And hasn’t He?
One of the most beautiful moments of the evening was centered around the cross.
There was a cross with nails, and we were invited to write down something we needed to surrender and leave with Jesus.
And let’s just say… I definitely had something to bring to the cross.
It’s been weighing on my mind lately, and in that moment I realized God knew I needed this night.
He knew.
He knew I needed reminding.
He knew I needed surrender.
He knew I needed to lay something down.
And while what I’m trusting Him with may not be easy—honestly, it may be hard—I’m reminded that trust is often formed in surrender.
I just have to trust Him. ✨
There was something holy about physically placing that burden at the cross, because it was a reminder that we were never meant to carry everything ourselves.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7
The cross is still where burdens are lifted.
Still where surrender becomes peace.
Still where hard things are placed in faithful hands.
And maybe that was the heart of Remember all along:
Remember what He has done…
so you can trust Him with what He’s doing now.
That part hit me deeply.
Because sometimes remembering past faithfulness gives us courage for present surrender.
As amazing as this year was, I already know next year will be even more beautiful. God keeps meeting us in these gatherings, and I’m so grateful.
I’m leaving this worship night remembering this:
He has been faithful.
He is faithful.
And He will be faithful.
And through it all…
He has been so, so good. 💛
This is my story, I’ll testify
The blessings on blessings You poured on my life
When I start remembering how good You’ve been
Fear turns to worship, tears turn to praise
Chains of depression, broken by grace
When we start remembering how good You’ve been
Yeah, You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
The enemy’s weapons fall to the ground
Armies of heaven always surround
When I start remembering
How You carried my cross
Called me by name
Loved me like I was, but You didn’t leave me that way
Was dead, now I live
Yeah, that’s what You did
Yeah, You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
From morning to night
The lows and the highs
I look back on my life and all that I see
Oh, You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
So good, so good, so good
Yeah
So good
When I say “God is good,” you say “All the time!”
When I say “All the time,” you say “God is good!”
When I say “God is good,” you say “All the time!”
When I say “All the time,” you say “God is good!”
When I say “God is good,” you say “All the time!”
When I say “All the time,” you say “God is good!”
When I say “God is good,” you say “All the time!”
When I say “All the time,” you say “God is”
So, so, so, so, so, so good to me
Yeah, You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
From morning to night
The lows and the highs
I look back on my life and all that I see
From morning to night
The lows and the highs
Your goodness and mercy is all that I see
Yeah, You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
You’ve been so, so, so, so, so, so good to me
